Mumbai: Television actors Ankit Gupta, Rutuja Bagwe, Ankit Raizada and Aditi Tripathi share their experiences of celebrating Raksha Bandhan this year.
Ankit, who plays the role of Ranvijay The actress, who is seen in the show “Mati Se Bandhi Dor”, said, “This year I will be shooting on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and if I get a day off or pack up early, I will celebrate it with my brother as I don’t have a sister and over the years my bond with my brother has become even more special and stronger.”
“Being the youngest, I have always been loved. One of my fondest memories of Raksha Bandhan is when my cousins ​​would tie rakhis with watches on them; I loved them,” he said.
Rutuja, who plays the character of Vaiju The actress, who is working in ‘Mati Se Bandhi Dor’, said that she will be shooting this year.
Rutuja said, “I don’t have a brother but I have a sister who ties me a rakhi every year; if she gets a day off from work, she comes to the set and celebrates it there. Every year I celebrate Raksha Bandhan with my sister and cousins. I love tying rakhis made of sandalwood and I always give my sister a gift of her choice.”
She added, “The happiness on her face is something I look forward to and rejoice over. Being my younger sister, there are certain aspects of her that she displays that give me the feeling of being an elder sister and me being an elder sister take care of her like a mother. It is a very special bond that we share and create memories for a lifetime.”
Ankit Raizada who plays the role of Aman Singh Rajput The actress, who features in the show ‘Advocate Anjali Awasthi’, said, “This year I will probably be shooting for my show Advocate Anjali Awasthi; if we get a day off, I will definitely celebrate it with my cousins ​​as I have a biological brother.”
He said, “This year Raksha Bandhan is going to be even more special as I will surprise one of my cousins ​​with a jersey which she wanted for a long time. I will finally gift her a jersey as she is a football player. We live for these little joys and celebrate these moments.”
Famous for playing the role of Deepika in the serial ‘Dil Ko Tumse Pyar Hua’, Aditi said, “Raksha Bandhan festival is always very special, especially for sisters as they not only get the promise of protection from their brothers but also lots of gifts and I want the same. I can’t wait to see what he has brought for me.”
