Rakshit Shetty responds to copyright claim, says he will fight the case in court

Rakshith Shetty has responded to MRT Music’s copyright claim over the use of two songs in a Kannada film. Bachelor party, Produced by the actor’s banner Paramvah Studios.

Naveen Kumar M, partner and authorised signatory of MRT Music, filed a case against Rakshith and Paramvaah Studios, claiming that the songs in the film, including the title track Nyaya Elide And Omme Ninnannu ,abuse mathu), Naveen’s company has the rights to the songs.

“To clarify, we are sharing specific clips from our film to provide full transparency and allow everyone to see how the songs were used. We previously spoke to MRT Bachelor party The film was released but the price they quoted was beyond our budget and negotiation was not possible.

“Is this copyright infringement? If so, what price should we pay for it? If not, how do we handle such harassment from music companies in the future? We have decided to fight this case in court.”
