Mumbai: Actress Rakul Preet Singh, who is all set to share the screen with veteran Tamil actor Kamal Haasan in the film ‘Indian 2’, has revealed about her role in the movie.
The actress revealed that she plays a stubborn girl in the film. Rakul also said that she completely connects with her character. Sharing details about her role in ‘Indian 2’, Rakul said: “This is definitely one of the most special films of my career. Not only because of the people I am working with, but also because of my character.
I play a stubborn, confident girl who knows what she wants. And somewhere, I completely relate to this character in my real life.” She added, “It’s too early to reveal much, but yes, it has been a pleasure working with Shankar and understanding the nuances he shared with me to play this character.”
‘Indian 2’, the sequel to Kamal Haasan-starrer ‘Indian’, is a vigilante action film directed by S. Shankar. In this film, Kamal Haasan plays the role of Senapathi, an aged freedom fighter who fights against corruption. Apart from ‘Indian 2’, Rakul also has a very busy schedule.
The actress is currently shooting for ‘De De Pyar De 2’ and will soon be seen in ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ alongside Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. Apart from this, she also has ‘Ameri’ starring Neena Gupta and Chunky Panday.
