Mumbai: Star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela are all set to welcome their second bundle of joy. Upasana shared a video on Instagram, featuring Ram, Chiranjeevi and other close family members and friends. Guests can be seen showering gifts and blessings on the puja.
“This Diwali was all about double the celebration, double the love and double the blessings,” Upasana captioned the video. The video concludes with “New Beginnings”.
Ram Charan is engaged to Upasana Kamineni in December 2011, and then got married in Hyderabad in 2012. In 2023, the couple had their first child, a daughter, whom they named Klin Kara Konidela, which is taken from the Lalita Sahasranamam, a Hindu text, and symbolizes purifying energy and spiritual awakening.

The film stars Ram Charan in dual roles along with Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram and Samuthirakani. After this, Ram Nandan, a government official, started a continuous fight against corrupt politicians. Determined to hold fair elections, he tries to revolutionize the way the government functions.
He will next be seen in the film Peddi, a sports masala film directed by Buchi Babu Sana. It also stars Shiv Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma and Jagapathi Babu.
On October 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Ram Charan for popularizing archery with the inaugural edition of the Archery Premier League (APL), the world’s first professional league in the sport, which will benefit ‘countless youth’.
“Upasana and Anil Kamineni garu, nice to meet you. Your collective efforts to popularize archery are commendable and will benefit countless youth,” PM Modi posted on Instagram.
Both Ram Charan and APL president Anil Kamineni have been actively associated with archery and played a big role in organizing the inaugural season of the tournament, which took place at the Yamuna Sports Complex in New Delhi.
After meeting the PM, Ram Charan shared his feelings on social media.
He wrote in his social media post, “Honoured to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the success of the world’s first Archery Premier League led by Anil Kamineni Garu. This is our small step towards preserving the heritage of archery and promoting it across the world. Congratulations to all the athletes, we hope many more will join this incredible sport.”
