New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash starring Nitesh Tiwari, have taken the first glimpse of Ramayana, and the internet. This grand epic comes in the form of a two-part live-process cinematic universe, which is designed on a scale matching the largest global tentpol.
Bringing the distinguished talents from both Hollywood and India together, the Ramayana has promised to be a cinematic spectacle as never before. As the biggest film ever, it has already begun to receive love and praise from audiences around the world.
Teaser introduced Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and as Ravana, which gives a glimpse of the first look of the pair in this mythological epic.

While the first glimpse was launched in front of a packed Imax Auditorium filled with media professionals and fans, directors Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra who were present at the launch were seen opening about the film.
Director Nitesh Tiwari was asked what he expected to achieve this epic by bringing it on the big screen, he said, ‘For me, it is about pride that we should feel for the great culture we do in our country. If we can provoke it and show the world what we are standing for, it will be an achievement – and this is what I am expecting to do it with it. ,

Namit Malhotra, the producer of the Ramayana, expressed his mistrust that the film’s first visual property was finally out to experience the audience. He said, ‘This has been a very, very long dream, to put our hearts and spirits in it and do justice with it. My only aspiration is: how do we take our greatest culture, our greatest history, and share it with the world? He also said that his company is leaving no stone unturned in an attempt to give possible to the most spectacular cinematic experience.
Written by Sridhar Raghavan, the film includes Sita as Sil Pallavi, Sunny Deol Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Ravi Dubey as Laxman.
With Monster Mind Creation of Namit Malhotra’s prime focus studio and Monster Mind Creation of Yash created by VFX Studio DNEG, who won 8-time Oscars. Oscar winning legends Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman also join the army to prepare a new cinematic sympony.
The Ramayana is being shot for IMAX and will be released worldwide in two parts, Part 1 in Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
