Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor recently opened up about his life and many things related to it. The Animal star also admitted that he took therapy for his mental illness before the death of his father Rishi Kapoor. Rishi Kapoor’s death has deeply affected Ranbir and till date the actor has not been able to recover from his father’s death. Talking about taking mental help before losing his father, he said in an interview to Nikhil Kamath, “Firstly, because I was not able to express myself completely in front of the therapist. Secondly, the therapist was somehow teaching me how to control life.”
Ranbir further shared a page from his self-reflection and said that all such feelings can be overcome by educating oneself on certain things. Ranbir even advised that whether it is a man or a woman, one can seek medical help and there is no shame in seeking help. “I think whether it is a man or a woman, if they are not mentally well, there is no shame in seeking help. There is no shame in crying about it, and people who love you will understand that.”
The actor also said that it is easier to deal with any problem calmly and gracefully. He also said that it is very important to address the problem and find a solution to it.
Ranbir Kapoor faced a lot of criticism from netizens for his statement about how his wife Alia Bhatt changed her loud voice for him because it disturbed him. But till now he has not changed anything for Alia. The actor was called a toxic husband.
