New Delhi: A large life of one of the most sacred epics in India is running officially. Namit Malhotra’s ambitious two-part saga ‘Ramayana’ is ready to be one of the most important cinematic projects not only in Indian cinema, but also globally, but also the most important cinematic projects. On July 3, 2025, the creators unveiled the first glimpse of the film, titled ‘Ramayana: The Introduction’, which they call “the immortal story of Ram V/S Ravana”.

The film ‘Ramayana’ is using state -of -the -art visual effects from VFX Studio DNEG, an Oscar winner. Director Nitesh Tiwari is on the rudder, for the purpose of balanced the traditional essence of the epic story with a modern cinematic approach.
The teaser, ‘The Introduction’, was launched with a large -scale fan screening in nine Indian cities and a billboard acquisition at Times Square, New York, in which an epic clash between Rama and Ravana was set in a careful cosmore.
‘Ramayana: The Introduction’ Cast and Crew
Artists bring some of the biggest names of Indian cinema together. Ranbir Kapoor steps in Lord Ram’s prestigious role, while Pan-India superstar Yash will portray Durjya Ravana. Sai Pallavi joins the epic as Sita, Sunny Deol appears as Hanuman, and Revi Dubey plays the role of Laxman. Together, they lead a contingent of a stellar artists supported by Hollywood and a top -level technical crew from India.
Music score is a historical collaboration between AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer. The action choreography is in the capable hands of the Terry Notary (Avengers, Planet of the Apps) and the Gai Noris (Mad Max: Fury Road), while the visual world is being shaped by the excellent production designers Ravi Bansal (Dune 2) and Ramsey Every (yesterday).
Director Nitesh Tiwari shared, “Ramayana is a story with which we all grew up. It bears the soul of our culture. Our aim was to honor the soul – and to present it with a cinematic scale described it really.

Diwali was expected to release during 2026 with its debut chapter and Part 2 in Diwali 2027, the film is being shot for immersive formats like IMAX to give a visually grand experience.
