Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor’s recent interview has become the topic of discussion as one of his statements about his wife Alia Bhatt has garnered a lot of attention and the Animal star is being heavily trolled. In his interview, Ranbir revealed how Alia Bhatt has given up her personality for him where he said that Alia’s accent was very sharp and he has changed it for Alia. In his interview with Nikhil Kamath, the actor said, “She used to speak in a very sharp accent. I think my father’s accent always bothered me growing up. So he really tried to change it. And it’s not easy when you live 30 years of your life speaking in a certain way. She is someone who instinctively says, if the rahha falls down. There is a reaction that bothers me. She does certain things to make me feel comfortable. I hope I can say that I have done something to make her feel comfortable, but I don’t think I have done that yet”.
This statement of Ranbir did not go down well with the internet and they are calling him a very bad husband and a control freak. Earlier also Ranbir was called a red flag husband when Alia said that Ranbir does not like her loud voice and she has changed it for Ranbir.
In the same interview, Ranbir praised Alia and said, “Alia is someone I have been meeting for many years and I knew she was special. I respect her a lot as an actor, an artist, a human being, a daughter and a sister. She really makes me laugh. I love going to her house. I love spending holidays with her, but I also love coming home with her.”
Alia and Ranbir were in a relationship for 5 years and got married in April 2022 and welcomed their baby girl Rhea and their life revolves around her.
