Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Ridhima Kapoor Sahni is all set to make her Bollywood debut with comedian Kapil Sharma in her upcoming film. The Diva is currently shooting for the project in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
On Monday, Kapil shared a BTS picture from the set on Instagram. In the image, the comedian-actor was surrounded by his wife Ginni Chaatrath, Ridhima, Neetu Kapoor, Sadia Khatib and director Ashish R Mohan.
In the caption, he wrote, “Smiling, stories, and many love the back scenes.”
Ridhima Kapoor Sahni also shared a picture on Instagram the same evening. The group was smiling all for the camera. The side note states, “Happiness is contagious, spread it.”
Earlier, Riddhima confirmed her Bollywood debut in an interview with Hindustan Times.
He said, “Yes, I have been a film film in the hills. I can only say that we are shooting here till June.”
Sharing his family’s response to his new venture, Ridhima said, “They are very excited. I keep sending them the snipites of the scene, and yes, completely helpful – the best thing is that the mother and I are living together, and we rehearsed their lines every day. Samara (daughter) is going to see me for a summer holidays once.”
According to a report in PinkvillaSo far the untital project has been constructed by Abbas-Mustan and is directed by Anulap Goswami. The film is scheduled to release in the second half of 2025.
A source informed the portal, “This is a statusable comedy and the manufacturers have planted in a reliable attire for the feature film.”
He said, “Ridhima Kapoor Sahni has a big screen debut under the direction of Ashish R. Mohan, and he is excited to step into the world of showbiz with a film in comic space. Neetu Kapoor has a concrete role in the film and is a major player in the midst of chaos.”
