The latest album of Indian-American rapper Raja Kumari, a grammy-namine Kailash to KashiThere is a sound pilgrimage through the sacred landscape of the Indian subcontinent. Album is a result of his journey, connecting Kashi, ancient to the ancient city of Mount Kailash’s mysterious heights.
With five albums for his credit, Raja Kumari will also complete a decade as a recording artist next year. She used to take a year off to understand the kind of music she wanted to be made and she wanted to represent herself. On a spiritual discovery of Kedarnath, she left the word: “surrender”. During the Mahakumbo, he flew in the project at producer Nacho La Raza. Being Spanish, she did not have much experience with Indian or devotional music, so she wanted her to prepare it with her. “From the moment I found on the microphone for the release of the album, fully mixed and mastered, it was 28 days, which is crazy,” she remembers.
According to Raja Kumari, the goal of the five-track album is to state that devotional music is still relevant. She explains, “People don’t have to take a different mode to listen to this style. She should simply be able to make it a part of her daily life,” she tells.
The title is the only English song of the track album and is written by Raja Kumari itself. She also shares a personal relationship with the second track ‘Shivtandav’ and how it took her a few days to record each of her 16 Sanskrit verses.

Raja Kumari also made ‘Lingasattakam’ in an Ephropop version, and called it ‘I Wish You You’. Last song, ‘Shabo’, captures the effect of one Good accompaniment And the song passes through three different tempo, and even the voice of King Kumari’s Guru, Summa Kushal.
As part of the launch of the album, Raja Kumari staged a live performance at Lohan Chowk in Hanumandhoka, one of the cultural and spiritual sites in Nepal. While earlier he performed at the Chidambaram temple and at the top of a hill in Tirupati, he chose UNESCO’s World Heritage Site Hanumandoka for centuries of cultural heritage.
Recently, Raja Kumari sang a Punjabi love number with Guru Randhawa, and planned to create mainstream and Bollywood music, besides cooperating with various artists.
