Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha trolled for preaching about hard work; Netizens call him ‘Bol Bachchan’

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani is gearing up for her much-awaited debut in Aazad. She will be seen acting with Aman Devgan in this film to be released on January 17, 2026. While the spotlight shines on the star kid, Rasha has also found herself grappling with the complexities of fame, social media and trolling.

In a recent statement at the trailer launch of her film Azaad, Rasha shared a philosophy she learned from her mother inspired by the Bhagavad Gita, “Shri Krishna Ji has said: ‘You just work hard, put in your effort, and Leave it.” Have faith in God. In this industry, there are a lot of emotions and trolls, and if you take it all in, it will drain you. Work hard, and leave the rest to Lord Shiva.”

While his statement reflected his down-to-earth approach to life, it also drew some criticism online, with trolls labeling him “Bol Bachchan” for his spiritual outlook. However, Rasha remains undeterred and is focused on her journey ahead.

In a previous interview with Cosmopolitan, Rasha opened up about growing up in the shadow of her famous mother and living in the spotlight. She revealed, “Growing up, Mom tried to keep us away from the spotlight, and I was grateful that we weren’t exposed to the sin culture at that time. I was single when I was 17 – it took me time to warm up, but I’m pretty cool now. With the rise of social media, it is difficult to stay away from it. “Although social media can be fun, it can also be bad.”

When Rasha was asked about dealing with online trolling, she displayed maturity beyond her years; “I consider myself lucky that I have not been trolled that much (yet). If your day is 100 percent and something affects 3 percent of it, don’t let it ruin the other 97 percent. I believe in processing the moment, feeling bad for a short while, and then moving on. I also meditate regularly for my mental health. Sitting with yourself and honoring your thoughts makes you stronger.”

Rasha Thadani’s debut film Azaad promises to be an exciting entry in Bollywood with Aman Devgan, nephew of Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgan.
