When asked about his role, Ravi candidly shared, “With due permission from my producers, yes, I am. I felt there was a certain sanctity to the project, and I think Namit sir, Nitish sir might have a plan as to how they want to talk about it. If I spew nonsense in front of people, I will become corrupt. It would be very unnatural for me to say ‘no comment’ which would be as good as a comment. So I took proper permission from him and I told him that if this question arises, what should I say? When they said yes, I also said yes.”

Ravi praised the script’s heartfelt narrative, describing it as “earnest” and “honest”. Reflecting on his experience of working with Ranbir Kapoor, he praised the actor’s humility and work ethic. “I am working with a megastar like Ranbir Kapoor for the first time, and his kindness, empathy, silence and grace towards everyone… (is great). He is working so hard but he will not come on the set and pretend that I am like this. Every time he is in front of the camera, you will see that he has come in front of the camera. He is the only commercial, viable artist of this generation. He is the most gracious person I have met and I respect and love him like my elder brother,” he shared.
