Ravi Mohan and his wife Aarti Ravi’s fight for divorce has caught the limelight for all wrong reasons. Amidst public fight, Ravi Mohan’s rumor girlfriend Kenisha Francis shared several screenshots of messages on her Instagram story, claiming that she had received death threats. Kenisha’s move came a few days later after Aarti Ravi’s indirect excavation regarding Ravi with Kenisha. In her statement, Aarti alleged that her marriage broke due to “third person”.
Kenisha Francis wrote on Instagram, “I am not closing or running my comments. I have nothing to hide from any body. You have the right to question my actions, but please come on my face and I am happy to show each of you and take a person’s misunderstanding from your truth.
Have any of you stopped to think about what I am doing with your curse and misuse? You talk about karma to hurt me, but when the truth comes out and legally out-I would not like the same pain on you, “he said.
In another Instagram story, Kenisha Francis wrote that if her actions are wrong, God would punish her. “I think that because most of you do not know my truth and pain, such words and worse words are easy to keep on me. I am sorry that your beliefs are hurting you. But I pray to the gods of light that someday, the truth will be revealed soon. I am ready to be punished by law. I can allow you to breathe till then.” she wrote.
On May 21, separate petitions were filed between their fight for divorce. In the family court, Ravi again saw his claim to divorce, while Aarti Ravi claimed Rs 40 lakh as monthly alimony.
In a court hearing on 21 May, Ravi urged the court to reject Aarti’s petition to cohabit.
The court advised both sides to reconsider their petitions and postpone the case by June 12.
Ravi Mohan made headlines last year after announcing divorce from Aarti last year. In a counter-post, Aarti claimed that the decision was “without his consent”.
Ravi Mohan mentioned in his note that he has not decided to divorce in a hurry. He wrote, “After a lot of views, reflections and discussions, I have taken a difficult decision to move forward with the disintegration of marriage with Aarti. This decision was not made in a hurry and it is aroused due to personal reasons that I believe that everyone involved is in the best interest.” He also changed his name with Jayam Ravi.
Ravi Mohan, son of veteran film editor A Mohan, is known for films such as Jayam, Das, Majhai, Bomrilu, Paranmai, Romeo Juliet, Bhumi and Siren.
For Anward, Aarti is the daughter of television producer Sujath Vijaykumar. Ravi Mohan and Aarti are parents of two sons, Aarav and Ayan.
