Originally Released Rebel Moon – Part One: Child of Fire on December 15 and Rebel Moon – Part Two: ScargiveReleased on April 19, the film received a huge audience. According to Netflix’s Top 10 chart, these films received more than 95 million viewers worldwide. However, Snyder himself believes that the actual viewership for Part One could be as high as 160 million.
In a previous interview with Joe Rogan, Snyder speculated about what the film’s box office would be like if it were released in theaters, estimating that the film could have grossed $1.6 billion based on projected audiences.

The new director’s cuts will each include about an hour of additional content, extending the original runtime beyond its already over two-hour mark. Similar to Snyder’s extended cut Justice LeagueThese versions, which were significantly longer than the original, are also expected to receive an R-rating.
The first film, starring Sofia Boutella and Djimon Hounsou, centers on a peaceful settlement on a remote moon threatened by a tyrannical force, with a mysterious stranger emerging as their protector. The sequel follows Boutella’s character Cora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to defend their new home, the Veldt, from imminent threats.
