Rajkumar Rao and Tripti Dimri’s film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ has released in theatres. Shahnaz Gill also has a small cameo in this romantic comedy and horror film.
The romantic comedy film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ has been released in theaters on the occasion of Dussehra. The makers of ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ are claiming that the film is 97 percent family and 3 percent super family. He said that after watching this movie, you will be laughing. Movie Story (Spoiler Free)
Vicky (Rajkumar Rao) is the best mehndi artist in Rishikesh. He falls in love with Vidya (Tripati Dimri), a girl studying MBBS. Both get married and after the wedding, Vicky-Vidya’s family gifts them tickets to Vaishno Devi but instead of going to Vaishno Devi, Vicky-Vidya goes to Goa for their honeymoon. Wiki reads somewhere that American couples record their sex videos and watch them over and over again. By doing this, their marriage lasts longer.
In such a situation, Vicky somehow convinces Vidya and then both of them record their first sex on a video cassette. After returning from Goa, Vicky and Vidya sit and watch their video at night and fall asleep. The next day, their house is burgled and the thieves steal their video CD and other belongings. After this, Vicky’s sister Chanda (Mallika Sherawat) and a police officer (Vijay Raaz) enter. Now the question arises whether Vicky will release his CD. You have to watch the movie to know the answer.
acting
Rajkumar Rao’s comic timing is tremendous. Tripti Dimri has done better acting in ‘Bad News’. Tiku Talsania is doing a good job in the role of Vicky’s grandfather. Vijay Raaz has put in a lot of effort to make Madhyam script a success. While the performances of Mallika Sherawat and Ashwini Kalsekar are good, their roles are not written properly.
Directing the film
Writer-director Raj Shandilya has a lot of experience in comedy. He started his career by writing scripts for comedy shows like ‘Comedy Circus’. This is the reason why his film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ got a full dose of comedy, but he took so much time to find the ‘Woh Wala Video’ that the film started to look boring towards the end.
Maker in trouble for imitating ‘woman’
The first half of the movie is amazing. Story, acting and comedy… everything is fine. However, the second half is useless. Actually, in the second half, the makers have tried to add horror elements like ‘Stree’ and their attempt has ruined this film with a good message.
