Two people were found dead inside Sunday, December 14, at a Brentwood home owned by director and actor Rob Reiner, multiple law enforcement sources told NBCLA. The LA Fire Department said a man and a woman – aged about 78 and 68 – were found dead inside.
Neighbors told that Rob and his wife live in the house. As per property records, he owns the house.

Detectives from the LAPD Robbery Homicide Division were assigned to the case. After the body was found on Sunday, heavy police force was present at the house.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., LAFD paramedics were reportedly called to the home on Chadbourne Avenue. LAPD officers were soon dispatched to the home for a report of an “ambulance death investigation”, a phrase used when officers are called by firefighters to the discovery of a death.
