Mumbai: Stage 4 Cancer Survivor Roslin Khan has expressed his support for Tahira Kashyap, wife of Ayushman Khurrana after detection of breast cancer for the second time.
Roslin, who is bravely battling cancer, shared a message of strength and solidarity with Tahira during this challenging time. Taking his Instagram stories, Khan wrote a long note, reading, “This is a case of cancer avoiding or repetition of cancer. Scientifically, it is very possible even after successful treatment, and it can return to the same place or in a separate part of the body. It can occur mainly because some cancer cells can avoid initial treatment, which may eventually return with time.”
“I can only say that Tahira is a very strong and hardworking woman. She has already been through it and she has won it once. So, there is no reason that she can fight and win it this time and win it once again. My prayers can always live with her, I can use her a lot, and a long life is a long and prosperous life.
World Health Day, on 7 April, Tahira shared the diagnosis of her cancer, emphasizing the important role of regular mammograms for people survived. She shared a post that wrote, “Seven -year -old itching or regular screening power – this is a perspective, I loved to go with the latter and the same suggestions were made for everyone who needed to get regular mammograms. For me, round 2 … I still got it.”
In the caption of the post, Star Wife said, “When life gives you lemon, makes lemonade. When life becomes very generous and throws them again, #LetsGo irony is that today is not #WorldHealthday, we can do whatever we can do in our ability and through it.”
In 2018, Tahira was detected in breast cancer, especially DCIS (ductal carcinoma in CITU), which included high-grade malignant cells in her right breast. It was classified as stage 0, which was an anterior phase.
