Television actress Hina Khan has been slammed by actress Roslyn Khan for her comments on her cancer journey. Hina Khan is fighting stage three breast cancer and she has been actively sharing updates from her exciting journey. Roslin Khan, who is a stage four cancer survivor and works for a breast cancer awareness programme, raised questions on Hina Khan’s recent comment on the 15-hour surgery. The actress also accused Hina Khan of “exaggerating” facts to grab “headlines”.
Roslyn Khan attacks Hina Khan over her recent media interaction, where she talked about mastectomy and the 15-hour surgery. during conversation with bollywood bubbleRoslin Khan said, “In Stage 3, first comes surgery, chemotherapy and then radiation. These are the procedures. For the last two years, I have been keenly learning about cancer and creating more and more awareness about cancer. I am working on creating it.” Working with many experienced oncologists in Mumbai, when I see Hina Khan saying 15-hour surgery, I wonder what is the 15-hour surgery for?”
“Mastectomy? When she came out of the operation theatre, she smiled to the family, this is nonsense. My own experience after mastectomy is that I was put to sleep for three days. No one regains consciousness so quickly. I think Hina Khan has come to her senses.” I am just exaggerating to get into the limelight,” the actress did not stop herself from expressing her anger.
The actress also attacked Hina for hiding her ‘shaved head’.
“In mastectomy the entire breast is removed and then reconstruction is done. And till now, they have not given any official statement about mastectomy. It is a super major surgery which takes up to 8 to 10 hours, Because in between samples being sent to the laboratory for testing, while patients are still sleeping in operation theatres, she was traveling around the world, to this day, she is hiding her baldness. “

Hina Khan has made many public appearances along with her cancer battle. The popular TV star made a stunning appearance at an awards ceremony in Mumbai last year. Hina, who had chopped off her hair during her chemotherapy sessions, wore a wig made from her own hair.
Hina shared her cancer diagnosis through an Instagram post in June (2024). It read, “Hello everyone, to address the recent rumors, I would like to share some important news with all the hinaholics and all those who love and care about me. I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I want to assure everyone that I am doing well. My treatment has already started and I am determined to overcome this disease. I will do everything possible to emerge from this even stronger. Ready to make every possible effort.”
Hina Khan rose to fame with the popular television show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She also participated in television reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 8 and Bigg Boss 11.
