The Haryana -based Yatra Youtuber Jyoti Malhotra was arrested on May 17 for allegedly spying for Pakistan and leaking sensitive Indian military information. Popular television actress Rupali Ganguly has reacted strongly to Utubar’s arrest.
Sharing a screenshot of news on X, Rupali wrote, “Such people do not even know that their love for Pakistan turns into hatred for India. Initially they talk about ‘Aman Ki Asha’ and hate India.

Jyoti Malhotra is a visit from Haryana, Vologue, who runs a YouTube channel called ‘Travel with Joe’. Her Instagram handle, ‘Travelwithjo1’, has 1.37 million followers.
About two months ago, she posted several videos and reels from Pakistan, showing her journey on the Anarkali Bazaar, Katas Raj Temple in Lahore and a bus journey across the country.
One of his Instagram captions read “Ishq (Love) Lahore”, and his content included comparison between Indian and Pakistani culture and coverage of Pakistani cuisine.
In 2023, Jyoti Malhotra first visited Pakistan, using a visa system through the agents of the Commission, during which she came in contact with Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, an officer of the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi. He later developed close ties with Rahim, which introduced him to Pakistani intelligence operators.
Ms. Malhotra was allegedly in touch with these handlers after returning to India and she is accused of sharing sensitive Indian Army Movement and location details as part of a detective network spread in Haryana and Punjab.
