Though Carpenter has yet to address her fear of fireworks, she appears to have forgotten about the accident
Sabrina Carpenter was saved from serious injury on stage at the Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco on Saturday. The 25-year-old singer narrowly escaped being hit by a firework during her performance when the venue’s pyrotechnic system malfunctioned. Video recording of the horrific incident shows the Espresso singer screaming and running backstage.

In the concert footage shared on X (formerly Twitter), Carpenter can be seen nervously taking a look behind her as fireworks explode. The Please, Please, Please singer immediately jumped off the stage when she realized something was wrong. She then screamed in fear as multiple fireworks exploded at once and then ran backstage to safety.
While Carpenter has yet to address her fireworks scare, she seems to have forgotten the mishap as she later took to social media to thank her fans and thank Kacey Musgraves, with whom she performed a duet of Nancy Sinatra’s hit song ‘These Boots Are Made for Walkin’. “Headline @outsidelands : aww thank you to everyone who came,” she captioned her Instagram post on Sunday, which showed a bunch of photos from the show.
The On My Way singer added, “Special thanks to an angel named @spaceykacey for getting to sing and dance with Nancy Sinatra :’)” and added, “And thank you to my entire team and crew. All the talented people who made this show possible on and off stage, I love you all so much.” Although Carpenter didn’t say anything about the accident, her fans were relieved that she was safe.
One fan on Instagram asked, “Sabrina girl, are you okay? You scared us with your screams with the fireworks at the end of the show.” Another user wrote, “Our Polly Pocket was not prepared for the fireworks and fireworks at the end of the show.” “The end of the show looked like something out of a movie. Poor Sabrina was scarred for life with those fireworks,” another fan commented.
