Mumbai: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has suffered a major injury to his thoracic spine due to a knife stuck in his spine and the actor is undergoing surgery to remove the 2.5-inch long knife from his spine and repair his ‘leaking spinal fluid’. Surgery was done to do this. A doctor from Lilavati Hospital said.
Talking about the current health condition of the actor, Dr. Nitin Dange of the hospital said that the actor is now completely stable and out of danger.
Actor Saif Ali Khan suffered at least six injuries after an intruder attacked him at his residence early Thursday.
Dr. Dange said that the doctors also performed plastic surgery on Saif’s hand and neck, where he was stabbed.
The doctor said that the Bollywood actor was admitted to the hospital at around 2 am on Thursday night.
“Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the hospital at 2 am with an alleged history of assault by an unknown person. He suffered a major injury to the thoracic spinal cord due to a knife stuck in the spinal cord. A surgery was performed to remove the knife. Two other deep wounds on his left arm and another wound on his neck were repaired by the plastic surgery team. He is now completely stable. Are out of danger.”
Lilavati Hospital Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dr Neeraj Uttamani said Saif Ali Khan has been shifted to the ICU ward and will be kept under observation for a day, adding that as per initial understanding he is 100 per cent fine. Will happen.
Dr. Uttamani said that Saif has suffered two deep wounds, two intermediate wounds and two scratches.
“Saif Ali Khan’s operation has been successful. His neurosurgery and plastic surgery have been completed. He has been shifted from the operation theater to the ICU for a day’s observation. After that we will take a decision tomorrow. At present he is looking absolutely fine. Have been.” He is on the road to recovery. As per our initial understanding the recovery should be 100 percent. Mumbai Police DCP Zone 9 Dixit Gedam, who is part of the team investigating the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, said the incident was an “attempted robbery” and the accused tried to enter Saif Ali Khan’s house. Fire escape ladder was used.
“Last night,” Gedam said, “the accused used a fire escape ladder to enter Saif Ali Khan’s house. This appears to be an attempt at robbery. We are working to arrest the accused. 10 detection teams are working on the case. “A crime has been registered at Bandra Police Station.”
The shocking incident unfolded at Saif Ali Khan’s residence in the ‘Satguru Sharan’ building in Bandra when an intruder allegedly confronted Khan’s maid.
