In a statement, Saif Ali Khan’s team said the Bollywood star is “out of danger”. On January 16, 2025 (Thursday) around 2:30 am, Saif sustained multiple injuries after he was allegedly attacked with a knife by an intruder at his residence in Mumbai.
“Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. “His condition is currently improving and doctors are monitoring his progress,” the statement said.
The actor was taken to Lilavati Hospital around 3:30 am by his son Ibrahim Ali Khan and another member of his family. Saif’s family thanked the doctors. “We would like to thank Dr. Neeraj Uttamani, Dr. Nitin Dange, Dr. Leena Jain and the team at Lilavati Hospital.”
Saif lives in Satguru Sharan Building in Mumbai with wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and children Taimur and Jeh. The statement further said that the actor’s family was not harmed during the incident. “All the family members are safe and the police are investigating the incident. Thank you to all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time.”

On Thursday morning, a statement from the team of the actor’s wife Kareena Kapoor Khan said that the attempted theft led to a serious situation. “There was an attempted theftSaif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s house last night. Saif has injured his hand for which he is in the hospital and is undergoing a procedure. Rest of the family members are fine. We request the media and fans to remain patient and not make any further speculations as the police are already conducting their proper investigation,” read the statement.

Reports say that Saif’s son Ibrahim from his first marriage with Amrita Singh came to know about the incident and reached the actor’s residence to take him to the hospital. Doctors at Lilavati Hospital said that Saif suffered six injuries from the knife attack.
