Mumbai: Actor Saif Ali Khan’s family members and close friends are gathering at Lilavati Hospital after hearing the news that an intruder was attacked at his Mumbai residence.
Earlier on Thursday, Saif’s wife and actor Kareena Kapoor Khan was spotted outside the hospital. Saif’s sister Soha Ali Khan and brother-in-law Kunal Khemu also reached the hospital to inquire about Saif’s well being.
Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim also came to meet their father. According to Dr. Nitin Dange of Lilavati Hospital, Saif has suffered a thoracic spinal cord injury.
“Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the hospital at 2 am with an alleged history of assault by an unknown person. He suffered a major injury to his thoracic spine due to a knife being stuck in his spinal cord. It took a doctor to remove the knife. Surgery was performed to repair the leaking spinal fluid,” the doctor said.
The doctor said that Saif also suffered deep wounds on his left hand and neck.
Dr. Dange said, “Two other deep wounds on his left hand and another deep wound on his neck have been repaired by the plastic surgery team. He is completely stable now. He is recovering and is now out of danger.” Are.”
Earlier, Saif’s team had also issued a statement saying that the actor is out of danger and his condition is currently improving. Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. Mumbai Police DCP Zone 9 Dixit Gedam, part of the team investigating the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, said one of the accused has been identified.

The shocking incident came to light at Saif’s residence in ‘Satguru Sharan’ building in Bandra, when an intruder allegedly confronted Khan’s maid. When Saif attempted to intervene and defuse the situation, the confrontation turned physical. The actor sustained injuries during the scuffle and was taken to Lilavati Hospital for treatment.
