Mumbai: Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan is being treated at Lilavati Hospital after he was allegedly attacked by an intruder at his Mumbai residence early Thursday. The ‘Hum Tum’ star underwent surgery and is now “completely stable”.
Dr. Nitin Dange of Lilavati Hospital spoke to the media and shared Saif’s health updates, which revealed that the actor has suffered a thoracic spinal cord injury.
“Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the hospital at 2 am with an alleged history of assault by an unknown person. He suffered a major injury to his thoracic spine due to a knife being stuck in his spinal cord. It took a doctor to remove the knife. Surgery was performed to repair the leaking spinal fluid,” the doctor said.
According to the doctor, Saif also has deep wounds on his left hand and neck.
Dr. Dange said, “Two other deep wounds on his left hand and another deep wound on his neck have been repaired by the plastic surgery team. He is completely stable now. He is recovering and is now out of danger.” Are.”
Earlier, Saif’s team had also issued a statement saying that the actor is out of danger and is currently recovering.
