Salman Khan recently paid tribute to the late experienced actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar. He thanked him for the cinematic heritage left behind him. In his official X (East Twitter) account, Salman recalled the icon with a hearty note.
“Manoj Kumar ji … a true legend. Thank you for unforgettable films and memories ….” He wrote, honoring the contribution of the mythical actor, is known as ‘Bharat Kumar’ for his prestigious patriotic roles.

Many people are not aware that Salman Khan’s father, famous screenwriter Salim Khan once worked with Manoj Kumar on the historic epic revolution of 1981. Speaking at the trailer launch of his documentary Angry Young Main, Salman celebrates the famous writer couple Salim-Javed, Salman brought an amazing anecdote about the film.
He revealed, “So, I only want an interview with Mr. Manoj Kumar. He is taking credit from Salim-Javed and saying that he has written it.”
With a light-hearted comment, Javed Akhtar-Eded of Farhan Akhtar-Putra, “Does he have a separate documentary for Manoj ji.”
Javed Akhtar then said, “I think it is very honest for him that he has done this acceptance.”
Salman replied while digging a pussy, “This is a fact. He says that I used to write and read them. But he wrote it.”
