Salman Khan will start shooting for ‘Sikander’ from June 18

Superstar Salman Khan is set to begin shooting for his upcoming film “Sikander” from June 18, the makers said on Monday.

Salman will play the lead role in the film, which will be directed by AR Murugadoss of “Ghajini” and “Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty” fame.

The project, set to release in theatres on Eid 2025, will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It also stars “Pushpa: The Rise” star Rashmika Mandanna.

According to the makers, the first shooting schedule will begin with Salman shooting an action sequence in an aircraft, 33,000 feet above sea level.

Salman’s last big screen appearance was 2023’s “Tiger 3”, while Rashmika’s was “Animal” which released in the same year.
