Despite strict piracy laws, Piracy is a major issue for Bollywood. In the case of Alexander, the possibility of leak began with camcorder recording in theaters, which was quickly upgraded to HD and uploaded online.

The film business analyst Komal Nahata took on Twitter on Sunday morning, “This is the worst dream for any producer. A film is leaking before its dramatic release. Unfortunately, it happened last evening for Sajid Nadidwala’s ‘Sikander’, was slated to release in theaters today.”

Nahta further mentioned that the film’s producer, Nadiadwala grandson Entertainment, urged the authorities to take action against the leaks, removing the film from hundreds of websites.

“The producer pulled the film down from 600 sites last night, but the loss was continued and still continue. The condemnable work that Salman can spend to the starrer Dear’s producer,” he wrote.

Alexander review

The film’s ABP reads Live Review: This film feels like any regular South Indian film – nothing is new here. Salman has once again been established to fight goons, we have seen with the same old trops for years. The film struggles to convince the audience; The great king, Salman, is a police officer who informs him about threats to his wife. Does the king not have better security? The film does not manage to attract your attention. In today’s world, where amazing movies are available on OTT platforms, the film looks old. If it was released 10 years ago, it may feel impressive. But now, with the world content on our fingers, the film looks stale, old and heavy.

‘Sikander’, directed by AR Murugados, marks Salman Khan’s return to the big screen after 2023. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Satyaraj and Sharman Joshi in the lead roles. It hit theaters on 30 March.
