Sanaa Maqbul diagnosed liver cirrhosis at 32: We know everything we know about this situation

New Delhi: Actor Sana Maqbul, known for winning Bigg Boss Oats last year, recently informed his fans that he had come to know of liver cirrhosis. Earlier, a picture of an actress from a hospital bed expressed concern among the well -wishers.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sana revealed that her condition had deteriorated and she is currently suffering from severe liver disease.

“I have been living with autoimmune hepatitis for some time, but recently things have deteriorated. My immune system has started attacking my liver more aggressively, and I have now shown liver cirrhosis,” Sana shared, “but I am trying to stay strong and take a day at a time.”

Bigg Boss winner also revealed that he had started immunotherapy, and doctors are trying their best to avoid liver transplant.

“Doctors and I am doing everything to avoid a liver transplant. I have started immunotherapy. It is really intense and tired. Some days are harder than others. But I want to hope. I want to expect. I just want to be better without the need of bigger transplant. I am not ready to tell this, but I am not ready to tell me.”

Sana clarified that her position did not deteriorate throughout the night, but gradually became more serious with time “It did not happen overnight, I am managing it for a while. Recently, it was badly provoked, which forced me to stop my work commitments. It breaks my heart a little, as if I have also hit everyone.

The actress also explained how her family has been her biggest support system.

Sana said, “My family is anchor to me through all this. I think it is difficult for them to see them in pain.

What is liver cirrhosis?

According to the National Institute of Health, cirrhosis is a condition in which the liver is scared and permanently damaged. The scar tissue replaces healthy liver tissue, prevents the liver from functioning normally. As cirrhosis moves, liver failure may occur.

Doctors diagnose cirrhosis based on medical history, physical examinations and a combination of various tests. These include blood tests (to detect liver damage or infection), imaging study and liver biopsy.

Cirrhosis can introduce many signs and symptoms such as fatigue, easy injury, swelling and severe itching. Symptoms may not appear until the liver suffers significant damage.

Common causes of cirrhosis include: alcohol -associated liver disease, nonclogic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), chronic hepatitis C, chronic hepatitis B
