New Delhi: Malayalam filmmaker Sanal Sasididh has accused the Mohanlal film ‘Thudram’ that he is still giving a screenplay to the screenplay of his script to release the film ‘Theatam’.
‘Thudram’, directed by Tharun Murthy, is considered in this year’s successful Malayalam films.
In a long Facebook post, director Sasididh accused Thudram of Playjias the script of his film, which he wrote in 2020.
His social media posts written in Malayalam, loosely translated as “I have seen the film Thaudram.
Sasididh claimed that his story revolves around an auto-rickshaw driver named Ambi, which was implicated by the police after killing him inside his vehicle. This plot, he said, Mohanlal has a similarity of ‘Thudram’.
Providing evidence for the alleged platform of his screenplay, the director said that the makers of ‘Thudram’ used one of their dialogues in the film, which he considers a major “slip-up” from the manufacturers.
“An important dialogue from my screenplay, ‘Kannal Papam Thinnal Therum’ (a saying is, ‘is absent on eating the sin of eating’) is used despite being completely unnecessary in this film. Even to steal without a trace, skilled thieves to steal, whatever was. ‘Thudram’.
The director of ‘S Durga’ also claimed that he had allegedly given his story to Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas and Sudhir Karmanna.
Sanal Kumar Sasidh also claimed that he had picked his story Manju Warrior, Towino Thomas and Sudhir Karmanna to play an important role. However, the film was sheltered for unknown reasons.
The filmmaker said that he will share his ‘Theytam’ screenplay on Facebook so that people can see similarities.
“All of them have read the screenplay. Since there is a long period five years, it is possible that they have forgotten about it. I will publish my screenplay here soon.”
Sanal Sasididh is known for his films, including S. Durga, Chola and Wazahaku.
For ‘Thaudram’, the film was a blockbuster at the box office. This minimum budget film earned more than Rs 150 crore worldwide.
