Sardar G3 controversy: Neeru Bajwa’s film Sardar G3 is facing an online investigation on the casting of Pakistani actor Hania Aamir. In response to backlash, the Punjabi actress has removed all her Instagram posts to promote the film. Controversy arose after the Pahalgam attack in April, inspiring Indian cine bodies to ban blankets on Pakistani artists and their projects. Popular singer-actor Diljit also faced criticism for supporting the film and proceeding with his foreign release plans.
Recently, Neeru Bajwa was seen promoting Sardar Ji3 with Diljit in Britain. Hania Aamir has not yet participated in any promotion of the film, even though the film is going to be released in Pakistan and other areas, but not in India.
Earlier, Neeru shared the poster and teaser of Sardar G3, which have since been removed. It confirms that he removed all the posts related to the film from his Instagram before his foreign release.
Sardar G3 Baikalash on Diljit Dosanjh
The singer’s visual support for the film’s foreign release, including Pakistan, has made many harassment. Breaking his silence, he has now made his first comment on the ongoing controversy, in an interview with the BBC Asian network, Diljit said that ‘When the film was made, the tab was Sab Thk … saying that he supports the producers’ decisions to release it abroad, saying that he accepts the financial risks.
Neeru Bajwa unfollowed Hania Aamir
A redit post was also doing rounds on social media that Neeru unfollowed Pakistani actress Hania Aamir on Instagram. Apart from Hania Aamir’s specialty, the film also has several other Pakistani actors, including Nasir Chinyoti, Daniel Khawar and Salim Albela.
Neeru Bajwa has unfollowed Hania and Diljit.
