Despite the heavy rains, the legendary artist was greeted with thunderous applause from his devoted fans as he took to the stage at the Gymkhana Club in Gurugram. Sartaj displayed melodious music, poetic brilliance and heart-touching shayari. Sartaj said, “Performing in front of such a passionate audience is always a humbling experience. Despite the rain, the energy and love I received tonight was overwhelming. Music is a universal language that connects us all and nights like these remind me why I do what I do. I have always loved dancing to his songs, and seeing him perform live was the best day ever,” said the youngster whose presence added a unique charm to the night and her conversation with Sartaj was all about the humble connect he shares with fans of all generations.
