Los Angeles: Insulted rapper scene “Didi” Comombs feels that a New York judge rejected one of several sexual assault cases against him.
The case was dismissed after a victim, which uses the proxy name, ‘Jane Do’, did not reveal his identity by extending the case, reported ‘variety’.
In the trial, originally filed by Attorney Tony Buzbi in October 2024, Jane claimed that Combs tried to sexually harass her at a party in New York City in 1995 and violently hit her violently when she refused her progress.
According to the ‘Variety’ in January, Buzbi filed a resolution for Jane anonymously, which the court refused that “the allegations have a lot of gravity” “no evidence of specific and concrete losses … has been claimed to move forward jointly with Underumin (Ed).
The court ordered Jane to file a complaint under his name by 20 March, the judge on Monday dismissed the case as he had chosen not to proceed the case. Buzbee explained in a statement that she did not feel comfortable revealing her identity and eventually decided not to refill the reflection.
“In this particular case, Jane Does opted not to move forward”, he said. “There is a lot of fear between these plaintiffs. I cannot blame him in this way. These are difficult cases and they are again shocking for those who carry them forward. Each case stands on her merit. This woman has not pushed herself to the media circus and has not undergone the alleged threat. We have to honor it.”
Rapper’s legal team shared with ‘diversity’ that this dismissal is a sign of what is to come up with other pending cases.
“Today a federal judge dismissed a case filed by an anonymous plaintiff by Texas’s Attorney Anthony Buzbi and his local lawyer Antigon Curis against Mr. Comombs.” “This is now the second case brought against these lawyers against Mr. Combes, which has been dismissed in its entirety. It will not be final. For months, we have seen the case filed by the individuals hiding behind not printing, we have focused more on media headlines than legal qualifications.
