I am not vested to end the world. But for an incredible culture that feels very fast, very loud, and too much, these stories provide some simple. Their solitary ruins provide clarity. Sometimes, in ruins, we can listen to ourselves thinking in the end.

As I am waiting for the release of Last of us Season 2, I think back to its gaming sessions at the peak of the epidemic. I played in the hours of the wee, when everything was stopped – everyone fell asleep, still the road outside the death, as if I survived alone. There was comfort in that peace, due to the long -term cool of the game, in the dikripit husk of green cities, the way every footsteps echoed. It was not felt that I was escaping from reality, but more as I finally found a version of it that I could bear. There is no small thing, no information, no disappointing fluorescent office lighting – just a gentle sense of collection.
