The Only Murders in the Building star previously shared a sweet story on her social media about her interaction with Telluride High School students who asked her to come to their game.
Gomez shared several photos and videos on Instagram, including one of a bright orange sign she saw upon arriving in Telluride, Colorado, for the 2024 Telluride Film Festival. The sign detailed the date and time of two games: “Selena Gomez, please sing the national anthem at one of our home games.”

In the next clip, Gomez strutted into the high school gym, surprising the crowd of students. “I saw the sign, so I had to stop,” she explained in the video. Although the pop star didn’t sing at the game, her appearance, which was an ultimate ‘pinch me’ moment, made everyone’s day. The rest of the video showed Gomez posing for photos with the team, signing autographs, and happily ending her first trip to Telluride.
“They asked!! I couldn’t resist, this is my first time visiting Telluride!” she posted on her Instagram.
