Washington: Blanco, 36, took to Instagram on July 22 to share an old photo of himself and Gomez embracing each other. The picture was taken behind the scenes of her collaborative music video “I Can’t Get Enough” with J Belvin and Tainy in 2019.
In the photo, Blanco wears a white teddy bear costume, which is reminiscent of the playful atmosphere during the shoot.
The photo was accompanied by another photo in which Gomez was holding a white teddy bear wearing an outfit similar to the one worn by Blanco in the video.
Blanco’s caption reflected their journey, blending their professional collaboration with their personal relationship.
“I used to play a teddy bear in your music video and now I play you in real life… Happy Birthday BB! I love you!” Blanco wrote, expressing his affection for Gomez.
Gomez responded with a heartfelt comment beneath the post, writing, “I love you.”
The “Calm Down” singer also shared a photo on her Instagram account to celebrate her birthday, in which she was holding light pink and burgundy balloons.
In her caption, Gomez encouraged her followers to contribute to the Rare Impact Fund, a mental health initiative she launched in 2020.
“I can’t believe it’s already been four years since I launched the Rare Impact Fund,” Gomez wrote, adding, “To date, the Rare Impact Fund has raised over US$15 million for youth mental health, and has provided support to 26 organizations across 5 continents.”
She further added, “Creating the Rare Impact Fund has been my greatest wish. As always, on my birthday this year, I would be so grateful if you could donate to the Rare Impact Fund. Please visit RareImpactFund.org for more information and to donate. No amount is too small, and this is the greatest gift you can give me. Love you all!”
According to People magazine, Gomez and Blanco publicly confirmed their relationship in December 2023, though they had been together privately for six months before making it official.
Since then, the couple has shared affectionate moments on social media, showcasing their bond through heartfelt posts.
They’ve also been spotted together at various public events, including the Golden Globes, the Primetime Emmys, and courtside during a basketball game between the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers in April.
In an earlier interview with People magazine, Blanco had hinted at the possibility of marriage, calling Gomez her best friend and praising their relationship.
Reflecting on their relationship, Blanco said, “When I look at her … I always think, I don’t know of a world where anything could be better than this.”
