Rare beauty made Selena Gomez a billionaire

The outlet reports that more than 80% of the singer’s wealth is derived from being a majority stakeholder in Rare Beauty. The beauty products line has also become a major player in the influencer marketplace. “Selena isn’t just a pop star. She’s a multifaceted businesswoman whose diverse sources of income contribute to her impressive net worth,” marketing specialist, Stacy Jones, told the outlet.

In addition to her beauty brand, Gomez’s billionaire status is also a result of investments in her real estate portfolio Wondermind, earnings from her singing and acting careers, and paid partnerships. Her inclusion on the new list is just one of many recent accomplishments by the Kill ‘Em With Kindness singer.

Gomez’s hit series Only Murders in the Building has been renewed for a fifth season and she is the third most followed person on Instagram. According to a Page Six report, she charges an upper margin of $30 million for an endorsement deal.

Gomez reached the list with her beauty brand and investments, while Taylor earned the spot with her successful run of the Eras Tour. She was declared a billionaire in October 2023, primarily based on her music empire. In 2019, her catalog value was estimated at $400 million, in addition to earning $370 from her record-breaking tour, $160 million from streaming, and approximately $100 million from record sales.

In 2023, Taylor’s net worth was estimated to be $1.1 billion, however, she has released a new album and performed shows on her international tour.
