Veteran Marathi actor Vijay Kadam passed away on Saturday morning. His friend and actor Jaywant Wadkar confirmed the news of his demise.
while talking ANIJaywant said that Vijay Kadam breathed his last at his home in Mumbai at the age of 68. Jaywant said, “He was fighting cancer bravely. Initially he recovered but later his health deteriorated. About 25 days ago, he also had an acidity attack.”
Remembering Vijay Kadam, Jaywant described Kadam as “a versatile artiste”. “He was extremely talented. From Marathi cinema to Hindi films, he worked in a variety of projects in his decades-long career.
Jaywant said, “It is impossible to find an actor like him again. His death has left a void in the industry. He is like my family.” Vijay Kadam’s last rites will be performed at the Andheri-Oshiwara crematorium this afternoon.
