Apple TV+ has released the first teaser for the much-anticipated second season. SeparationThe work-life balance thriller captivated viewers worldwide in its first season. The new teaser features Adam Scott’s character Mark, who returns to the turbulent atmosphere of Lumon Industries after last season’s cliffhanger finale.
In the teaser, Mark is greeted by the ever-creepy Mr. Milchik, portrayed by Tramell Tillman, who greets Mark with a sinister smile and a bundle of balloons decorated with Mark’s face. “Your innie has already seen this image,” Apple TV+ taunted in its post, creating curiosity among fans and leaving them eagerly waiting for the next chapter of this dystopian narrative.
SeparationProduced by Dan Erickson and executive produced by Ben Stiller and directed by Aoife McArdle, starring Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry and John Turturro. The cast includes Patricia Arquette, Trammell Tillman, Christopher Walken, Jane Tullock, Michael Chernus and Dichen Lachman. The series follows Lumon employees who go through a process to completely separate their work and personal lives.
Brief glimpses of the new season show Mark in a variety of troubles, changing between his usual office attire and more casual attire, suggesting that his “outtie” side may infiltrate the highly controlled world of Lumon.
The series, which was scheduled to begin production on its second season in October 2022, faced delays due to creative disputes and the twin Hollywood strikes. Filming eventually concluded in April 2024.
