New Delhi: After more than three decades in the industry, Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan finally gave his first National Film Award. He earned an honor for his entertaining performance in Atley’s high-octane hit jawan, a film that hit a raga with both the audience and critics.
Taking on social media, the Zero Star shared a hearty video message, expressing his deep gratitude and reflected on the importance of the moment. The award made the first mark for actor Wikrant Massey, who won for the 12th failure.
“No need to say, I am overwhelmed by gratitude, pride and humility,” Khan began. “To be honored with a national award is a moment that I will cherish for a lifetime.”
In his message, Shah Rukh thanked the National Award Jury, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and all those who believed in their performance.
A shout for director Atley
“And especially thanks, Atallie, Sir.” He said, “To give me opportunities in the young man and to trust me to be worthy of this award and to be worthy.”
The actor thanked his entire team and management for supporting him, he said he “made me much better than me.”
Thanks for family, team and fans
He then nodded his family a heartfelt head, “My wife and children have given me so much love and care in the last few years as I am a child in the house. They know that my passion with cinema takes me away from them, but they all tolerate it with a smile and allow me to have time, so thank you very much for it.”
While reflecting the deep meaning of the award, he said, “The National Award is not only about achievement, it is a reminder that what I matter, tells that keep working hard, keep making and serve cinema.”
Khan promised his fans to continue the award and call the award “fuel, not Finnish Line”.
Switching in Hindi, he said, “This award is a reminder for me, acting Sirf Kama Nahi, is a timedri.
In a poignant sign-off for your fans, he said, “Thank you for all cheers and all tears. This award is for you. I love to spread my arms and share my love … but I am a little indispensable. Don’t worry, just keep you ready, I will come back to theaters soon.”

Set injury
Earlier, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Shah Rukh Khan was hurt during the filming of an intense action scene for his upcoming film King at Golden Tobacco Studio in Mumbai. The production has been temporarily stopped, in which all shoots have been allegedly canceled to Film City, YRF Studios and Golden Tobacco Studio between July and August.
Despite the shock, the National Award Win is an important milestone in the SRK career, which strengthens its position as one of the most permanent and cute stars of Indian cinema.
