New Delhi: Bollywood’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan was spotted at the airport leaving for Switzerland to receive the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera Ascona-Locarno award at the 77th Locarno Film Festival. Khan will then be attending a much-awaited public interaction on August 11 at 5 pm local time.
Demand for Shah Rukh Khan’s public talk was so high at the initial venue that it was moved to the more spacious Cinema Granrex. The event will be livestreamed to fans around the world, giving a wide audience an extraordinary opportunity to connect with the global icon.
The Locarno Film Festival, held annually in Switzerland, will also hold a special screening on August 10 to honour Khan’s remarkable contribution to cinema. The tribute underlines his impressive acting skills and the lasting impact he has had on the global film industry.
