New Delhi: Bollywood fans are getting more excited as shooting for the much awaited action-thriller ‘King’ at Mehbobe Studio in Mumbai. Along with the play of Suhana Khan’s big screen, the film first put her and her famous father, Shah Rukh Khan together for the first time. Thanks to the final-minute schedule adjustment, ‘Munjya’ fame Abhay Verma has also joined the Star-Stad Ansambal.
Allegedly, producer Gandhi Jayanti is looking at 2026 as a potential release date, hoping to start murder on national holiday.
A source close to the production told Peeping Moon, “This date completely aligns for a grand Bollywood spectacle like King. It falls on Friday and matches with a national holiday, this date keeps the film for the inauguration of a strong box office. After SRK’s record-brakeing 2023, the actor will still give up another 500-cut, and this holiday.”
‘Raja’ cast
If the reports are to be believed, ‘Raja’ contains an artist contingent including Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukherjee, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Anil Kapoor, in addition to the confirmed leaders -Shah Rukha Khan, Suhana Khan, Abhishek, and Abahan. Despite the lack of confirmation from the production company, many news sources are claiming that these industries will play an important role.
According to reports, Abhay Verma will play the role of Suhana’s lover, while Rani Mukherjee will play the role of her mother, a part that will set the stage for the film’s high-dosage in both emotional and narrative. A report by Pinkvilla states that Deepika Padukone has more than just one cameo.
