Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore criticised Ranbir Kapoor in a podcast with Kapil Sibal. Animal calling it “anti-women”. However she also added that such films still cannot be dismissed. It’s a huge difference (in budget) and it will continue. I don’t think it’s going to change in the near future. So, smaller films will also get their money back, but not in the amount that Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh bring in.”

One is landing a plane, one is cracking a safe… doing all kinds of things together and the camaraderie between the three is great because they say a woman is a woman’s worst enemy, but that’s not the case here.”
