Mumbai (Maharashtra):

Actress Sharvari has been performing consistently well. Her latest film ‘Munjya’ has received positive reviews from both audiences and critics.

Speaking to ANI, the young actor expressed his gratitude to fans for appreciating his film.

Sharvari said, “I waited for a very long time to get such appreciation… I can’t really put it into words. The audience is giving our film so much love. My mother is so proud of me… she has been with me through thick and thin and when she saw this film, she said she was proud of me. It means a lot to me. There is nothing better than receiving blessings from people. I remember when I was surprising fans by going to the screening of ‘Munjya’, a lady came up to me and blessed me. I am so grateful for all the love.”

Horror-comedy ‘Munjya’ has been attracting audiences to the theatres ever since its release on June 7. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is based on a Marathi folktale. It also stars Mona Singh, Abhay Verma and Sathyaraj.

In the coming months, Sharvari will also be seen sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt in YRF’s spy universe film. However, an official announcement about the project is still awaited.

Talking about it, he said, “I am very happy. Working on (YRF’s spy universe film) is a huge responsibility. I have always dreamt of working in big films… so it feels great when your dreams are fulfilled.”

Apart from this, he also has ‘Veda’ with John Abraham. He called it a “special film”.

Sharvari said, “Vedha is a special film. Also, it is my first lead role… can’t wait for the audience to watch it. The film also gives an important message to society.”

Directed by Nikkhil Advani, ‘Veda’ will release in theatres on Independence Day.
