‘Munjya’ star Sharvari Wagh on Tuesday announced that she is all set to begin shooting for her upcoming film ‘Alpha’.
28-year-old Wagh shared a post on his Instagram handle along with the film’s director Shiv Rawail. In the caption, he expressed his excitement about the shooting starting.
The caption read, “It can’t get any bigger than this! So excited to start my #alpha journey today! Trust me… I have prepared for this moment so well, but I still have butterflies in my stomach…”
“Thank you Adi sir for your faith and thank you @shivrawail for believing in me! Let’s go!!” The project also stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role and will be a part of the YRF spy universe that includes “Pathan”, “Tiger” and “War” franchises. “Alpha” will also be the universe’s first female spy film.
Wagh made his film debut in 2021 with “Bunty Aur Babli 2” alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi, before playing a small role in Kabir Khan’s “The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye” in 2020.
His recent film “Munjya” has received a good response at the box office and the audience has given a positive response to the film. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film featured Bhagyashree Limaye, Mona Singh and Abhay Verma in the lead roles and was produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
