Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha has been admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital for a routine check-up. Meanwhile, Shatrughan Sinha’s son Luv Sinha has confirmed the news. Indian ExpressWhen asked about Shatrughan Sinha’s condition, Luv Sinha told Indian Express, “Dad had viral fever and weakness for the last few days, so we decided to admit him to the hospital.” The veteran film actor was reportedly admitted on Monday. The news comes a week after Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding to Zaheer Iqbal. Sonakshi registered her marriage under the Special Marriage Act at her Bandra apartment last Sunday. Shatrughan Sinha and his wife Poonam Sinha were present at the registry ceremony as well as the reception party.
A few days ago, the actor-politician shared some pictures and videos from his daughter’s wedding celebrations on X (formerly Twitter). Sharing the pictures and videos, he wrote on X, “With a sense of gratitude we would like to thank everyone for celebrating with us on our special day, which appears to be the ‘wedding of the century’ for your warmth, love, congratulatory messages for our darling daughter #SonakshiSinha and #ZaheerIqbal as they begin a new chapter in the beautiful journey of their lives.” Take a look:

After Sonakshi’s wedding, Shatrughan Sinha shared his happiness with the media. Shatrughan told Times Now, “Is this even something to ask? Every father waits for this moment when his daughter is handed over to her chosen groom. My daughter looks the happiest with Zaheer. May their pairing remain intact.” He further said, “44 years ago Shatrughan Sinha married a very successful, very beautiful, very talented girl of his choice, Poonam Sinha. Now it is Sonakshi’s turn to marry the boy of her choice.”
Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha are parents to three children – daughter Sonakshi and twin sons Luv and Kush. Shatrughan Sinha won this year’s Lok Sabha elections from the Asansol constituency in West Bengal.
