Mumbai: The entire film fraternity is in shock due to the demise of Bollywood superstar Dharmendra on November 24.
veteran star Shatrughan Sinha took to his ex (formerly known as Twitter) handle and revealed that while recovering from this huge loss, he offered some consoling words from Hema Malini, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
Condoling the demise of his ‘dearest family friend’ and ‘elder brother’ Dharmendra, Shatrughan wrote on the micro-blogging site, “Met our dearest family friend @dreamgirlhema. It was heartbreaking to meet our dearest family friend, our elder brother @aapkadharam at this sad time of tremendous loss. Met his two beautiful daughters @Esha_Deol #AhanaDeol with words of consolation for their immense loss. Dharamji was a kind and gentle soul. (sic).”

Recalling the unmatched legacy left by Dharmendra, he said, “He is not with us today but his memories will always be with us. Prayers and condolences for his peace in this difficult time. May God bless them all. (Om Emoji) Peace.”
On Saturday, Shatrughan also met Dharmendra’s sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol and expressed his heartfelt condolences.
Talking about the meeting, he wrote on social media, “On return from Delhi, I went with a very heavy, sad heart to the @aapkadharam home of our dearest family friend, our elder brother. It was heart touching to meet his amazing sons @iamsunnydeol Bobby Deol @thedeol, his charming, adorable wife Tanya and their handsome son Dharam and especially Aryaman (sic).”
“It was great to meet them all and remember Dharamji. He was a remarkable man and the many lives he touched will live on forever. Praying for his peace and strength at this sad time. Om Shanti.” He added.

Dharmendra breathed his last on November 24 at the age of 89. He was put on a ventilator in mid-November after complaining of breathing problems.
