Sheel restored the version with the original end, removed the removal of the premiers in Italy: Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra react

Mumbai: The Legendary Bollywood epic ‘Sholay’ will receive a special 50th anniversary tribute with the world premiere of his completely unwanted edition at the IL Cinema Retroato Festival in Bologna, Italy.

The screening will be held on June 27 in the large open-air Piaza Magir, which is known for hosting memorable film programs.

Originally released in 1975, Sholay became a creed favorite in Indian cinema, thanks to its powerful story, characters and action scenes. Directed by Ramesh Sippy, the film included Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Jaya Bhaduri and Amjad Khan, and became a cultural event.

The restored version is the result of three years of collaboration between the film Heritage Foundation and Sippy Films Private. Limited for the first time, the audience will be able to see the film with its original end and first deleted scenes that were missing from the version that were widely shown in theaters.

According to a press release, Amitabh Bachchan shared his thoughts, saying, “Some things in life remain permanently etched in your mind. Shlay is such a film. Shooting for the film was an unforgettable experience, but at that time I had no idea that it is an uncontrolled. For all of us.

Dharmendra said, “Sholay is the 8th Wand in the world. I am thrilled to hear that the film is being restored and I am sure that it will be the same success as it was 50 years ago. Who can forget the dialogues of Salim-Jave and Ramesh was worked in the direction of Sippy? Thakur, but I was clear that I wanted to play the role of Viru because he was like me.

The restoration project included working with rare materials found in the film Archives in Mumbai and London, and the final version was created with the help of experts in Italy and with support from the British Film Institute.

The film will be shown in 2.2: 1 aspect ratio, with restored sound and view.
