Filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor alleged on Tuesday that the streaming version of his 1994 film Dasyu The film is “unfamiliar” from the film that he originally directed and was edited without his permission.

The director is also known for such films Innocent, Shri bharatKate Blanchet-starrer period drama franchise Elizabeth, and What’s Love Got To Do With It?Asked if the OTT platform will do the same with a film by Hollywood’s Great Christopher Nolan.

Taking the microblogging site X, the filmmaker wrote,

critically acclaimed Dasyu Phoolan revolves around the life of Devi, which is associated with the dreaded Chambal Dakit-Sasuraness of Parliament. Actor Seema Biswas played a tissue role in the film, which held a big -scale discussion worldwide after his premiere in the fortnight section of the 1994 Cannes Film Festival directors.
