Mike Heslin, known for his roles in the TV show Lioness and the movie Holiday proposal planHe died at the age of 30. His husband Scotty Dynamo confirmed the news of his death and paid an emotional tribute to him on social media. She shared several photos on social media. She wrote, “On July 2nd, my husband, best friend and soul mate @mikeheslin passed away from an unexpected cardiac event after a week-long struggle in the hospital. Michael was young, perfectly healthy and doctors have no explanation as to why this happened.”
She added, “Michael was brilliant, selfless, talented and a real-life guardian angel. He single-handedly got me through multiple bouts of cancer. He was the first person everyone called to share good news, and was the perfect person to call if they needed support or the best advice. He was truly the sweetest, most caring and loving person on earth, and he brought out the best in everyone who had the good fortune to meet him. He moved through life with such ease and confidence, and transformed everyone around him into better versions of themselves.”
The post further read, “Michael, meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me. You are my world. You are everything to me. When I realized you were taking your last breath, my heart broke into a million pieces. If I had the power to switch places with you, I would do so in an instant. But I will take it one day at a time as you have always told me to, and live every day in your honor.”
Scottie revealed that he and Mike were in the “early stages” of starting a family. He wrote, “Just a week ago, we were in the early stages of starting a family and regularly shared our favorite names for our future children. You always told me you felt you were meant to be a dad, and I completely agree. You would be the best dad in the world. If I ever become a dad, I will name my son after you and hope I can raise him to be at least half the man you are.”
She concluded, “You were the most generous and giving person. I find peace in knowing that, through your willingness to be a donor, you have given the gift of life to four different families. We are 3 weeks away from your birthday and 4 months away from our 1-year wedding anniversary, but I know you are in a better place and heaven has gained another angel. Michael, in the words of Shania Twain: I will love you “always and forever.”
On the work front, Mike Heslin played Polo in two episodes of the first season of Lioness alongside Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman. His credits also include The Holiday Proposal Plan, Younger, The Influencers, 7 Deadly Sins and You Are Never Alone.
