Mumbai: Actress Shilpa Shetty welcomed her husband Raj Kundra before the release of her upcoming Punjabi film “Meher”.
Sharing a glimpse of the drama, Shilpa wrote on her IG: “Wohuo !! Punjabi films have found a new hero in the city, but she is my hero for many years. Welcome to films @onlyrajkundra.”

Reacting to the post, Kundra commented, “Thank you very my queen my queen, my everything @theshilpashetty.”
Director and choreographer, Farah Khan said, “Both of you are very good for the team.”
Kundra will be seen playing the role of Karamjit Singh, a Sikh, in his first film.
Using social media, the businessman revealed how wearing a turban for the film became a deep meaningful experience for him.
Taking it on his Instagram, Kundra dropped a video wearing a turban and wrote: “Meher, wearing a turban for the first time in my first film, was not just a part of my role, it was a moment that touched my soul. The weight of that dastar came with a deep sense of responsibility and pride. It has ground me, I have given me a ground, and I have been confirmed by a community that I have been in the house, and Now I take this honor with humility and love in my heart for Punjab and its people.
Directed by Rakesh Mehta, the film features Geeta Basra primarily Baniyar Bani, Savita Bhatti, Rupinder Rupi, Deep Mandip, Ashish Dugal, Shama Dhaliwal, Tarsam Paul, and Kulivir Soni.
“Meher” is scheduled for a dramatic release on 5 September.
